Brenda E. Maller has been a Personal Fitness Trainer for the past 30 years. As a personal trainer,she is unique in both her education and focus. Possessing a dual Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine and Occupational Safety from Keene State College, Miss Maller went on to receive her Masters of Science in Kinesiology at University of Colorado in 1995. Originally, it was this degree that brought her to Boulder where she now lives and thrives. During her Masters, Miss Maller became a self-employed personal trainer, working with clients ranging from 12-year-old snow boarders to 80-year-old skiers. Her cliental and work diversity since has only increased in range, emphasis and focus. 1996 was a big year for Miss Maller, she started her Spin Instructor focus at “The Max/Body Balance Gym, where she found her true love of teaching spin classes, at times holding more than 35 participants. In 1996, Miss Maller won the Miss SouthernColorado Bodybuilding Competition, only to continue and win the Miss Natural Colorado Bodybuilding Championship in 1997. However, Miss Maller never left her love of science. In 2001 she became a PT Aide, Fitness Consultant at Bodywise Physical Therapy, working on the science of individualized physical therapy as well as nutritional counseling. In 2008 Miss Maller made her acting debut in an IMBD movie called Beauty Mark . This movie, a documentary on the extremes that athletes will go to achieve greatness, spoke to the hearts of many, and was written and co-directed by her client DianeIsrael, the first paid professional, female triathlete. For the past fifteen years, Miss Maller has collaborated with Flatiron Athletic Club (FAC), now Colorado Athletic Club, one of the leading fitness facilities in Colorado. At FAC/CAC she has had the opportunity to train triathletes, pro cyclists and olympic athletes. Brenda also just received the honor of top trainer of Wellbridge gyms across the country. She continues to teach numerous Spin classes and currently personal trains over 70 clients. She is known for her fun, energetic, challenging yet personable classes and programs.
